Hog’s Back Writers is a longstanding group, and in the past ten years have had 6 novels published, and have won or been shortlisted for prizes, including the Bath Novel Award, the Yeovil Literature Prize, the Commonwealth Diversity prize, and the One Giant Leap Award for Science Fiction.

Debbie After deliberating for decades, I finally found the courage and put pen to paper. My historical fiction is about a rural village in Victorian Kent and its connection to the local farm. A much loved hobby, I hope one day to see in print and hold it in my hand.

Richard Richard was born in the Yorkshire Dales and completed his schooling in Croydon. A stint at Liverpool University set him on the road to a career in engineering that took him inside the bowels of buildings and to many corners of the globe.
